This week on The Ed Bernstein Show, our guests are Gabe Morales and Luis J. Rodriguez, both recently featured as guest speakers at The Mob Museum.
Gabe Morales spent more than 30 years in criminal justice, retiring as a lieutenant with ICE after a career that included service in the Marine Corps, corrections roles in California and Washington, and over 20 years working in inmate classification and rehabilitation at King County Jail. He is also a longtime instructor, founder of the International Latino Gang Investigators Association, author of numerous books and articles on crime and gang violence, and a mentor to at-risk youth.
Luis J. Rodriguez, a former gang member now 32 years sober, has spent more than five decades helping troubled youth while building a remarkable career as the award-winning author of 17 books, including his bestselling memoir Always Running.
